In the 21st century, most of humanity follows fashion. A healthy lifestyle, sports, and a beautiful body have become propaganda in recent years. But, as we know, each of us has an individual body and ways of losing weight are different.
Various diets and drugs for weight loss came to us from sports. One of the novelties was clenbuterol. Thanks to the composition, namely clen, which promotes rapid fat burning, it has gained immense popularity among athletes, and later among citizens who want to lose weight.
Clenbuterol is not only an excellent fat burner, but also has other positive aspects. Previously, clenbuterol was taken as a remedy for bronchial asthma. Clenbuterol has retained this ability to this day. As observations show, the drug affects the drying of muscles, regardless of whether you are a man or a woman (the dose is less than in men). Also, the product affects the central nervous system, normalizes the mental state of a person. It also improves the breathing process and protects the bronchi. One of the important advantages of the drug is its anti-catabolic effect, that is, proteins from the body are not “washed out” anywhere, only subcutaneous fat disappears. In addition, it can act as an anabolic effect.
The positive components of this drug may be rapid weight loss. In just two weeks, people lose about eight kilograms of weight, which is a good result. A pleasant surprise will be a surge of vivacity, which will increase a person’s working capacity.
The drug Clenbuterol belongs to the pharmacological group of beta-agonists for the treatment of bronchopulmonary diseases. However, the presence of a number of metabolic effects in this drug has given rise to the practice of using Clenbuterol for weight loss, which is not approved by doctors.
Indications for use
According to the official instructions, Clenbuterol (other trade names – Contraspasmin, Spiropent) has the following indications for use:
- Chronical bronchitis;
- bronchial asthma;
- chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD);
- dust bronchitis and pulmonary fibrosis with silicosis;
- pulmonary tuberculosis.
The mechanism of action of Clenbuterol on the bronchi and lungs – relieving spasms, reducing mucus production, reducing its viscosity and improving excretion – is provided by the active substance – clenbuterol hydrochloride, which is 4-amino-alpha (tert-butyl-amino) methyl-3,5-dichlorobenzyl alcohol. Clenbuterol has the same effect on beta-2-adrenergic receptors as adrenaline and norepinephrine, that is, it excites them. When interacting with the membrane enzyme AC in cells, the concentration of cyclic adenosine monophosphate (cAMP) increases and protein kinases are inactivated. As a result, the transmission of the inflammatory signal of the immune cells of the bronchi and lungs is inhibited and their muscle fibers are relaxed.
But this drug also affects the beta-1 adrenoreceptors of the heart and beta-3 adrenoreceptors, which are localized in adipose tissue. Thus, Clenbuterol for weight loss works by stimulating beta-3-adrenergic receptors, which leads to a metabolic effect – increased heat production and activation of lipolysis. In addition, the anabolic effect of this drug is noted, which is due to a positive effect on protein synthesis. For this reason, in sports medicine, the drug is considered doping and is banned.
After oral administration, Clenbuterol for weight loss is absorbed in the gastrointestinal tract and enters the systemic circulation; bioavailability is 89-98%. The half-life lasts more than a day, residual levels of the active substance are found in the blood 48 hours after a single application.
Clenbuterol is cleaved in the liver by gluconation (conjugation with glucuronic acid), the excretion of metabolites is carried out through the kidneys.
How to drink Clenbuterol for weight loss?
You should start drinking Clenbuterol for weight loss with a minimum daily dose of 20 mcg (one tablet of 0.02 mg), the maximum daily dose is 120 mcg. For men, the initial dose is 40 micrograms (two tablets) per day, the maximum daily dose is 140 micrograms.
There are two schemes for taking Clenbuterol for weight loss – “explosive” and regular
According to the first scheme (popular with bodybuilders), the drug is taken for 14 days, starting with a minimum of 20-40 mcg, with an increase in dosage daily or every other day. By the end of the second week, the daily dose should be 100-140 mcg (5-7 tablets). Then a two-week break is made, after which the reception is resumed with a dose of 100-140 mcg.
With this method, the main problem is that the use of beta-agonists leads to addiction, and stopping the pills slows down the metabolism.
The second regimen was recognized as the best, which involves a gradual increase in dose from the initial 20 micrograms to 100 micrograms over 14-17 days. There is also an option: for four weeks, the minimum dose is taken without increasing.
Clenbuterol should not be used for more than 16 weeks in one calendar year.
An overdose of Clenbuterol causes an increase in side effects: tremors, arrhythmias and increased heart rate, drops in blood pressure, neuropsychiatric disorders. A significant overdose is fraught with cardiac arrest.
Like any drug, clenbuterol has side effects. This can manifest itself in the form of insomnia, rapid heartbeat, diarrhea, increased anxiety, slight tremors in the body. Despite these small disadvantages, consumers are advised to buy this drug, because the result is visible in the shortest possible time. An important factor is that the occurrence of side effects is quite low. In social networks there is a heated discussion of this drug. Reviews about him are on average positive
It is also advised to reduce food intake, which helps to achieve a good result faster. Sport is also important, which actively affects our weight. It is worth noting that when taking the drug, the body requires water much more than the daily norm and a person drinks about 5 liters of water per day. Sellers – consultants advise taking clenbuterol cyclically. You take it for two weeks, and the body rests for two weeks, and the receptors will not get used to the drug.
The use of Clenbuterol for weight loss most often causes side effects, manifested by tachycardia, downward changes in blood pressure, hand tremors, dry mouth, nausea, and urticaria. Headaches, insomnia, a state of increased anxiety and nervousness also appear.
The use of Clenbuterol for weight loss activates the breakdown of glycogen in the liver (glycogenolysis), which leads to an increase in blood sugar with possible hyperglycemia. In addition, the drug can cause a loss of potassium and a decrease in the synthesis of taurine, causing muscle spasms.
The most dangerous side effect of this drug is ventricular hypertrophy.
Interactions with other drugs
Clenbuterol is incompatible with beta-blockers. Simultaneous reception with means for lowering blood sugar levels eliminates the effect of the latter. Clenbuterol increases the risk of extrasystoles when used with cardiac glycosides.
